alrite alrite, u guys are really making me feel bad not updating, im still alive look at my face hahaha.
Not that ive been partying every day hence not being able to update, its just that ive been pretty caught up working heaps of hours (trying to weasle her way out)
Sheesh, i really dont know where to start, okies ppl i actually moved to Melbourne and ive found work now at MontBLanc, so please if you need any cufflinks, timepieces, pens, wallets notepads, keyrings, you KNOW where to go *ahem ahem* hahaha
To be honest, each company that you go into , u learn heaps. Like for example pens. You might be thinking of a normal ordinary biro or fountain pen, but like timepieces its a piece of art. The shape of the pen barrel, materials used, type of nib for fountains and styles are actually extremely personal in taste. Of course not to mention the all time famous White 6 Star symbol at the top of every pen of ours that symbolises quality, history, tradition and craftsmenship - Masterpiece.The always handsome Johnny Depp with our metal/rubber fountain pen - starwalker collection and our silver faced bestselling timepiece from the TimeWalker Series. So as you can see, even a pen a lifeless object can make u appreciate the engineering of human kind. It depends on how u see it.
Okies the reason for being suddenly so philosophical is because i just bought this new book by Eckhart Tolle called " A New Earth - create a better life" it just basically talks about how in this world when we tend to rush here and there doing things, we tend to forget the joy of just being. That means appreciate the present and feel the present.

People focus too much on being rich and thus all their energy is on that thought than the hard work that needs that energy to transform that dream into something real. Energy is diverted.
The chapter that im on, talks about our Ego, as long as we identify it, we're going beyond ourselves, from being unconcious to concious. But ego isnt personal, its just who you are really, but if you view it as a personal problem, thats just MORE ego :P
Our ego tends to label everything around us: Its a bird, a tree, its a book or a necklace. The mental label stops us from thinking ofthe object of what it is and how it can link us to understanding life. Like Van Gogh didnt just think a chair is just a chair, he sat down to observe it and sense the beingness of it there and from there he painted it on canvas, what we thought was just an old chair is now a painting that is sold for more than 25 million dollars!
So what i want to share with everyone is that try to appreciate the present, living and non living things so that we can link ourselves more to life than being dilusioned by it. Okies so this is just towards things, but i would say that also applies to humans as well. My mum recently sent me this email and i thought it was extremely meaningful if some of you can read this :P....
Live life to appreciate things and the ones that you love because things dont last forever. They do in faith, spirit and nurtured with love and together with God's blessings.
